As part of an ongoing effort to better align the documentation with the API, we’ve documented how RDC check capture handles amount mismatches. This change affects the documentation only; the API was already returning this data.

Documented amount mismatch handling for RDC check capture

When the checkAmount you send doesn’t match the amount read from the check, the scan fails. The response has success set to false, amountDiscrepancyDetected set to true, and an error in the errors array. Payabli can configure an organization or paypoint to accept these scans instead. With this setting on, Payabli stores the check with the amount you sent. The response has success set to true, amountDiscrepancyDetected set to true, and a warning in the messages array. This affects the following endpoint:
