Paypoints can have different statuses that indicate their current state. These statuses are important for understanding the paypoint’s functionality and limitations.

Paypoint status

The paypoint status shows whether a paypoint can process payments. In paypoint endpoints and endpoints that return paypoint data, this is the PaypointStatus field.

StatusCodeDescription
Inactive0The paypoint is inactive. This can happen for several reasons, but it’s typically because the paypoint is still being configured. If a paypoint was previously active, an Inactive status means that it’s no longer able to take payments but can still receive chargebacks and returns.
Active1The paypoint has been fully configured and is ready to accept payments.

Merchant funding status

Separate from the paypoint status, the merchant funding status tells you whether Payabli automatically deposits processed payments into the merchant’s bank account.

Funding statusMeaning
N/AAutomatic funding doesn’t apply to this account.
ActivePayments are processed and deposited into the merchant’s bank account automatically.
InactivePayments are still processed, but they aren’t deposited into the merchant’s bank account.
