Manage your profile
Your profile is where Payabli stores basic information about you as a user. You can update your personal information and MFA settings directly from your profile. Some tasks — including password resets and role changes — require a manager or admin to complete on your behalf.
Update your user attributes
- Click the edit icon beside User Attributes.
- Update any of the following:
- Profile picture: Upload a square image with your subject centered. Payabli recommends at least 400 by 400px.
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Time zone
- Language
- Click Save.
Determine your user role
Your role assignment appears in the User Attributes section of your profile. Your role determines what actions you can take within an organization or paypoint. Your role may differ depending on whether you’re accessing the organization level or a paypoint.
To change your role, a manager or admin needs to update it from the Manage Users page. If you don’t have access to Manage Users, contact your admin.
Manage multi-factor authentication
You can update your MFA method from your profile at any time.
To update your MFA settings:
- Click the edit icon beside Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Status.
- Select your preferred method and click Next.
- Complete setup for your selected method.
Text-based MFA may not be available for all partners. Contact your admin or Payabli support to confirm whether SMS MFA is enabled for your account.
Authenticator app
- Open your preferred authenticator app.
- Scan the QR code or manually enter the setup key.
- Save the entry — your app will generate a six-digit one-time password.
- Enter the code to confirm setup.
Some authenticator apps — including Microsoft Authenticator — require you to use the app’s built-in scanner rather than your phone’s native camera.
Text (SMS) based
- Confirm the phone number associated with your account.
- Enter the six-digit code you receive to confirm setup.
Your updated MFA method takes effect the next time you log in.
If you lose access to your MFA method and can’t log in, contact your admin — they can reset MFA for your account from the Manage Users page.
Reset your password
You can reset your password from the Payabli Portal login screen — click Forgot password and follow the prompts. A manager or admin can also send a password reset email on your behalf from Manage Users.
